Western view of climate change much different than reality otherwise

Here’s a note from Paul Schaafsma about this article entitled “It’s a Very Western Vision of the World”:

Every single model used by the IPCC to project future warming assumes continued pursuit of infinite economic growth in the affluent countries, where growth lowers living standards, instead of raising them. The models demonstrate what is possible if not a hair on the head of this planet-killing ‘economic system’ is disturbed. They cannot and do not allow us to say “Oh, everybody knows warming of 1.5C or less by 2100 is impossible. You’d have to be delusional to question it.”
