Farewell to Ira Millstein, a Governance Legend

One of the greatest governance lawyers in the land passed away recently, Ira Millstein. Ira has long been known as one of the top governance gurus. One of the fathers. He established the “Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership” in 2005. He practiced law for over 70 years – 70 years! – at Weil Gotshal (see Weil’s farewell).
