A report from TNFD’s “Nature-Related Financial Risks” pilot program

The final TNFD framework will be released in September. However, over 40 institutions have already piloted the beta framework on nature-related financial risks with United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).

This pilot was a groundbreaking exercise that explored new types of nature-related risks, new assessment methodologies, and new strategies for helping finance become nature-positive. The report, “Unboxing Nature-Related Risks,” offers valuable guidance based on the lessons learned during the pilot.
