74% of economists believe immediate, drastic climate action is necessary

A growing number of economists are concerned about the costs of climate change according to a recent study from New York University School of Law’s Institute for Policy Integrity. “Seventy-four percent of the economists polled in the survey said ‘immediate and drastic [climate] action is necessary.’”

This percentage is far below the 100% of scientists who believe so – but 74% is still pretty high!
