Here’s a 71-page report from Deloitte – entitled “The Equity Imperative” – that lays out how companies can identify unfounded cultural assumptions and biases so that they can tackle them. It makes the business case for racial equity. And urges sustained commitment to making change.

It looks at four potential futures for the US (weary years; loud as the rolling sea; silent tears and our bright star) – and explains how the scenarios leading to those futures might play out. Pages 35-36 includes ten reflections on the scenarios.

Then the last part of the report talks about the roles of the various leaders within companies – the board, the CEO, the Chief D&I Officer, etc. – and action items that each can take. The report has a nice set of graphics and is worth perusing…
