Corporate confidentiality is dead

Here’s an excerpt from this note by Alison Taylor:
The more significant wider point, which is one I make over and over again but bears repeating, is that this was a leak from an employee who was disgusted by the impact of these practices on developing countries. And this was not the only employee taking action, this was a collective of employee activists.
Again, leaking is the new whistleblowing, and corporate confidentiality is dead. NDAs will go away, forced arbitration for sexual harassment has already. There are no clear BOUNDARIES anymore between companies and the wider environment. This is where to focus if you’d like to run an ethical business today.
