A big one! The new International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)

At COP26 a few days ago, the IFRS Foundation made a big splash with a huge consolidation announcement – the formation of a new “International Sustainability Standards Board” (ISSB), which includes the combination of the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) and the Value Reporting Foundation (which itself is the product of a recent merger of the SASB and the Integrated Reporting Framework) into the new ISSB by June 2022. At this point, the GRI is the reporting framework on the outside, looking in.
